MS - Multiple Sclerosis

This site is presented to introduce and encourage you into the realm of natural health and holistic healing. Although it's dedicated to the elemental miracle, it is based on the following concept. “If something is good for you, then it's good for you.” Do not ever focus on any one holistic health treatment as the all and all. You wouldn't try to live on just “one” food, would you? Mix & match! That's why there is literally a smörgåsbord of options under each and every disease category. Pick at least the top five cures that you feel best suits you, and your situation. Then research them as much as you can, and use them in conjunction with one another. Be consistent and give them at least a few weeks to work. If necessary you can include others as you go. Some modalities are intended to be used only until the desired result is achieved, and others you'll want to continue for life. The elemental miracle for example, is for life, and what an opportunity of a lifetime it represents by providing an antidote for virtually every disease. Just imagine, no more fear from disease, ever again! Not only for yourself, but also for all of those you love and care about. You're certainly welcome, but don't stop there. Enter this wonderful world of natural health, and never look back. Whatever disease your presently being confronted with is hopefully only a “wake up call” just to lead you onto the path of excellent health and well being. Everything happens for a reason, and we were all meant to have perfect health, for life. So congratulations! You have come to the right place. It's so nice to meet you. Visit this site often as we are always adding new information, and don't forget to sign up for our newsletter. I'll be here to help you, so let me know if you have any questions, or just send an e-mail to tell me how your doing. Here's to your exceptional health & happiness. You deserve it! Your friend, Jay Geary.

"Multiple sclerosis (abbreviated MS, also known as disseminated sclerosis or encephalomyelitis disseminata) is an autoimmune condition in which the immune system attacks the central nervous system (CNS), leading to demyelination. It may cause numerous physical and mental symptoms, and often progresses to physical and cognitive disability. Disease onset usually occurs in young adults, is more common in women, and has a prevalence that ranges between 2 and 150 per 100,000 depending on the country or specific population. MS was first described in 1835 by Jean-Martin Charcot.

MS affects the areas of the brain and spinal cord known as the white matter. White matter cells carry signals between the grey matter areas, where the processing is done, and the rest of the body. More specifically, MS destroys oligodendrocytes which are the cells responsible for creating and maintaining a fatty layer, known as the myelin sheath, which helps the neurons carry electrical signals. MS results in a thinning or complete loss of myelin and, less frequently, the cutting (transection) of the neuron's extensions or axons. When the myelin is lost, the neurons can no longer effectively conduct their electrical signals. The name multiple sclerosis refers to the scars (scleroses - better known as plaques or lesions) in the white matter." (Wikipedia)

Causes Of MS

No one knows what causes MS multiple sclerosis. There are basically four primary theories that attempt to explain it's cause. Perhaps a combination of all of them together, would be the best explanation available to date. The primary theories as to what causes MS are genetics, infectious diseases, the immune system, and the environment.

Genetic:

A person’s chances of developing MS increase if he or she has a relative with MS. Researchers believe that certain genetic combinations increase the likelihood of a person to develop MS, however the increase in risk is not high enough to call MS a “genetic disease.” Instead, it seems that genes are one factor among many, that determine a person’s risk of getting it. Your chances of developing MS are:

Infection:

Viruses are known to cause damage similar to that seen in MS. Some researchers believe that infections may somehow trigger the immune system to attack nerve cells. Basically, the virus (or bacteria) that causes an initial infection “looks” like a nerve cell. The immune system develops T-cells to fight off the virus. Those T-cells remain in your body after the infection is gone and become confused when they “see” a nerve cell, mistaking it for an invader. The result is that your immune system attacks your nervous system.

The Immune System and MS:

Though no one knows why, most researchers agree that multiple sclerosis is caused by the immune system attacking the body. Specifically, the immune system’s T-cells attack cells in the brain and spinal cord, damaging the outer sheath (myelin) of nerves. The damage impacts how well those nerves function, which is the source of the symptoms of MS, and any resulting disability.

Environmental:

People in certain regions and areas have a higher risk for MS than others. By cataloging the movements of people with MS, researchers have learned that individual risk changes based on location. From this observation they have concluded that certain exposure to the environment increases the risk for MS.

MS occurs more in places farther from the equator leading some researchers to believe that vitamin D deficiency may be involved in MS disease. Vitamin D is produced by the body when the skin is exposed to sunlight. In regions far from the equator, the atmosphere filters out more of the sun’s rays which decreases vitamin D production in the body.

Multiple Sclerosis Symptoms

Mental Health Symptoms of MS

Depression is one of the more common MS symptoms. Many MS patients (some estimate that as many as 50 percent) suffer from depression at some point. While it can be a reaction to the effects that MS is having on their lives, often this depression is directly caused by MS itself. Depression can also be a side effect of the interferon therapy drugs prescribed to those with MS. (Rebif, Betaseron, Avonex) About 10% of MS patients also are affected by other mental illnesses such as anxiety and paranoia. Five percent may suffer from “laughing/weeping syndrome,” also called involuntary emotional expression disorder (IEED) or pseudobulbar affect, which causes the person to experience periods of laughing or crying which is unrelated to their mood, or any relevant event.

Cognitive Symptoms of MS

About 50% of people with MS experience cognitive difficulties, although some estimates are closer to 80%. These MS symptoms are usually seen as problems with attention, memory, and concentration. Some people with MS have difficulty making decisions, performing abstract thought, and generalizing. These cognitive problems are not usually severe and may not be recognized by the person as one of their multiple sclerosis symptoms. Friends and family members are sometimes better at estimating cognitive changes than the person with MS.

Sexual Dysfunction Symptoms of MS

Sexual dysfunction is estimated to effect about 80% of people with MS symptoms at some point. This symptom ranges from a lack of interest in sexual activity to a loss of sensation during sex. Men can experience difficulty maintaining an erection, while women may not become lubricated or be able to achieve orgasm.

Bladder and Bowel Symptoms of MS

Dysfunction in the workings of the bladder or bowels occurs in up to 80% of people with MS multiple sclerosis. These symptoms appear as difficulty in urinating (urinary hesitancy), a sudden urge to urinate (urinary urgency), frequent urination or incontinence (leakage of urine or loss of control of urination). Bowel symptoms usually manifest as constipation although they can also appear in the form of diarrhea.

Heat Sensitivity Symptoms of MS

In most MS patients, warm temperatures or an increase in the body’s temperature from exertion can cause a temporary worsening of MS symptoms. These symptoms subside once body temperature is again normalized.

Dizziness and Vertigo Symptoms of MS

Dizziness involves the feeling of being lightheaded or feeling faint. Vertigo is the sensation of the person’s surroundings spinning or the ground rushing towards them. In many cases, this will cause feelings of nausea, the same as when a person has motion sickness.

Vision Symptoms of MS

People with MS can experience double vision, eye discomfort and uncontrollable eye movements. Generally, eye pain is present when the eyes are moved. Inflammation of the optic nerve (called optic neuritis) causes blurred vision, color confusion and even blindness in one eye. Fifty-five percent of MS patients will have an attack of optic neuritis. In 15% of people, optic neuritis is the symptom that results in an MS diagnosis.

Pain Symptoms of MS

Some people with MS experience pain, often in the arms and legs. Another common symptom can be a tight, painful band around the stomach or torso, which is often referred to as a girdle sensation or an “MS hug" Facial pain can also occur. Also, people with MS symptoms can experience muscle pain from trying to compensate for in-coordination or weakness.

Muscle-Related Symptoms of MS

These include weakness, problems with coordination and loss of balance. The muscle-related symptoms most often occur in the arms and legs. At times, these MS symptoms may impair walking. Spasticity, which is the involuntary tightening of a muscle, can manifest as stiffness, pain or spasms. Some may experience difficulty in making small or complex movements and may notice their hands shake when they're trying to pick something up, write, or just button their shirt. This is called "intention tremor."

Fatigue Symptoms of MS

This is one of the most common MS symptoms, and may be triggered by heat (from weather or exertion), physical activity, or be experienced as a constant lack of energy. MS related fatigue often does not respond to adequate sleep and rest, and may last all day.

Sensory Symptoms of MS

Parasthesias or abnormal feelings, can occur in MS. These typically take the form of numbness or tingling, usually in the arms and legs. Some people also experience a loss of sensation or an inability to feel temperature (for example, hot things may feel cold).

Natural Cures For MS

The Elemental Miracle as with all malfunctions of the immune system, works wonders for those suffering from MS multiple sclerosis. I have read many testimonials to the fact, and there is one posted on the home page of this site. This particular MS patient feels that MS is pathogen based, which is of course a presence the elemental miracle specializes in annihilating. Also as was previously mentioned, infection is one of the suspected causes of MS, which the elemental miracle also specializes in eradicating.

Calcium, Magnesium, Vitamin D, Potassium and Chromium taken daily, has been reported by many to have completely eliminated all of their MS symptoms.

Bovine Colostrum has been shown to be a very effective MS treatment, and I have seen testimonials by MS sufferers who credit it with completely curing their MS inside of a month.

Honey Bee Venom consumed in the form of bee venom honey, has been declared to heal even long time MS patients in as little as a week!
Low Dose Naltrexone taken at the rate of 4 to 5 mgs. a day has been reported to alleviate all MS symptoms permanently.

Turmeric is reportedly very helpful in reducing the symptoms of MS.

Diet has been recognized as a form of MS treatment all on it's own. A vegan diet has been applauded as one very reliable means to avert MS. There are many famous instances of persons healing MS with diet including playwright Roger Mac Dougall who healed his MS through diet. The main focus of any MS diet should be to eliminate all gluten and casein from it, and to reduce acidity while increasing the bodies alkalinity. There is plenty of information on the inter-net in regard to MS and diet. The following website has a fantastic book on healing MS naturally. http://www.multiple-sclerosis-cure.com

In closing I would just like to encourage you in your quest to heal MS naturally, and say that success is guaranteed if you stay attentive and persist with whichever natural cures yield you the best results. Even if your exhibiting all of the multiple sclerosis symptoms because didn't catch the MS early, and it's in an advanced stage these natural remedies can still turn it around. You should put the elemental miracle at the top of your natural MS treatment list. I can't imagine why anyone suffering with such a terrifying disease would hesitate to immediately start taking advantage of all it has to offer. Along with all of the other multiple sclerosis symptoms, complacency is common. No doubt it's mostly due to the depression that accompanies MS, but if you will just stay with it, the results you receive, will be sufficient to drive you forward.

I have a very good friend who's wife suffered with MS for years who was tragically successful, after her second MS inspired suicide attempt. Unfortunately my friends had no faith in natural health, and their doctor kept her on an array of pharmaceutical medications. That situation gave me a firsthand look at the severity of this illness, and the conventional methods of MS treatment. I have the deepest sympathy for anyone confronted by MS disease. Congratulations for your attempt to cure yours, or your loved ones MS, naturally.

Best wishes and good luck, Jay Geary Signature
